You would not believe how HOT it is right now!!
A veritable heat wave is rolling over the country. i hope this means that there is going to be a heavy downpour of torrential rain tonight!!
then i'll be able to snuggle up and go to sleep to the sound of rain beating down on the roof.
i like that sound. it just speaks to me of wet, green forests, raindrops rolling off banana leaves, water splashing down on asphalt. In the morning you see those rainbow smears shining on the street, from the mingling of an oil smear and water.
I just took a cool shower and didn't even towel dry my skin. i'm just going to let the waterdroplets cling to my skin, cooling me as they evaporate in the thick blanket of warm air.
Tomorrow's a holiday so i can afford to go out. But i don't know if i want to go out tonight or stay in and study.
If i do decide to stay in, i've downloaded a movie to watch already.

anyway......
the place had cooled down sufficiently to take a nap....if i can really sleep now
