Civil convo between me and the ex

i can't believe that i am planning a birthday with my ex-boyfriend for a mutual friend of ours.
Usually i feel to shoot myself if i talk to Rick for more than 3 minutes. unless of course we're on a three-way convo. with J.
But even then my maximum toleration of him is probably 15 minutes for the most. After that he makes some wildly inappropriate joke about how i cheated on him (which only happened the day before we broke up and he doesn't know a thing about it!! no-one does and that's the first time and last time i have ever cheated!!) or how he cheated on me (which happened right when we were on the verge of getting together and numerous times in our relationship!!)
When he does that, i swallow my rage into my stomach and calmly say i'm going or else i will start to curse.
But last night we had a 40 minute convo. and we were perfectly civil with each other!. Probably because we were just planning about J's party.bt we talked abt a couple other things too and we were actually laughin!!
Go figure.
anyway J's b-day is tmwr and i have no real clue who is coming and where we're going!!
we outlined a vague plan but i'm still not sure what the hell is happening.
Rick might take him to see Clash of the Titans. Which is good for Rick's agenda, 'cause he wants to see it as well. i have class during the day and plus i want to see it with my brother. Not Rick.
then we might go out in the night. i dunno where though. Rick wants to go on Ariapita Avenue to hang out but i'm still skeptical.
I'm a bit worried about money.
i have to help my cuz pay rent so i'm giving her $500.
i wish i didn't have to give it to her, but she really needs help paying her rent......so SIGH...i'll be trying to budget on $128.00
How the fuck is that going to pay for a b-day cake, food and hanging out afterwards?!!
hmmm i better pray over it. maybe i'll find a $100.00 abandoned on the street somewhere.
i hope Rick comes through with Vince for our driver because that's just going to be another problem to deal with if we have to hire a driver. they're blood expensive!! Especially the one i use. He's reliable but can kill with his price sometimes.
