Just a little prayer to the Almighty
i was going to whine about how much work i had to do for my mid-terms later this week...but i decided to write something quite different........
Dear Lord,
so many people are suffering at this very moment. they cannot find the words to cry out to You. Every minute, every breath seems like physical pain to them.
It is at these moments, i know that Your spirit is there with them. they may not know the words to say to You, but didn't you say Lord that when we do not know how to pray that Your Spirit helps us in our weakness....that the Spirit understands our tortured groanings.
i'm praying for all those that are in a place of darkness right now.
For Carrie who is grief-stricken and hopeful for miracles. I am praying for Melanie who lost her son to cancer last December and to M. who lost her son Friday. For P. who is confused, heartbroken and in need of Your guidance.i am praying for all those who are heartsick and lost. All those who feel like there is no light at the end of the tunnel. for all those who are doubting themselves. Doubting their ability to be strong in this time of adversity and trouble.
i am praying that their time of pain and affliction is coming to an end. 'Cause LORD,i know you do not give anyone a bigger burden than they can bear.
As they walk through this valley of pain, restore their souls and comfort them Father.

PS: Lord a special prayer goes out to those in Chile and Haiti. Hold their hand and get them through this disaster.
